Our response to the new coronavirus
In view of the spread of the new coronavirus, we would like to inform you of our response as follows.
To ensure the safety of our employees and customers, we are committed to thorough management, and have established countermeasures for the new coronavirus, which contain additional details in addition to the measures below.
1: Preventive measures in offices and factories
Hand washing and hand sanitizing
Periodically wash and disinfect hands and fingers, whether at work, after using the restroom, or when entering each facility.
Use alcohol sanitizing sheets, disinfectant solution, sanitizing soap, paper towels, etc. provided by the company.
Wear a mask whenever possible.
Wear a mask at meetings and gatherings, both inside and outside the company, and in crowded places whenever possible.
Regardless of whether or not you are wearing a mask, maintain a distance of at least 2 meters from other people as much as possible.
However, to prevent heat stroke, take your mask on and off as much as is common sense.
Sheeting to prevent droplet infection should be installed in reception areas and meeting rooms where conversations are held.
Partitioning is phased into the adjacent desks.
Wipe down and clean.
Wipe down and clean tables, chairs, doorknobs, switches, handrails, etc. with alcohol or water and detergent for frequent contact.
Check the temperature every morning.
When you go to work, make sure your body temperature is below 37.5 degrees in the morning.
2: Organizing and participating in meetings (meetings, seminars, training, etc.)
Web conferencing for meetings and discussions with external parties
When meeting in person, wear masks as much as possible, talk through a splash-proof sheet, and keep a distance of 2 meters outside the sheet.
Participate in seminars and events via the web.
Reduce the number of regular meetings.
3: Travel and business trips
Refrain from non-essential business trips for the time being.
If there is a necessary transfer, an examination is performed to confirm that the patient is in good health before the transfer.
After consultation with the company, the employee will be observed for 14 days after the necessary move, and will be kept at home or work from home in principle during this period.
Refrain from traveling outside the specified area, including business and personal matters. Report to the company before and after any travel.
4: If you have symptoms of suspected coronavirus infection
Disinfection of targeted areas in the office plant as directed by the government and health department.
The person in question will be suspended from work until he or she regains health.
Work resumed with employees, except for those in concentrated contact.
All measures, including the wearing of masks, will be carried out within reason, taking into account the health condition of the employees, such as heat stroke.
